#Why Digital Media Reserve?

Digital Media Reserve is an indigeneous implementation of Digital Rights Management integrating with Adobe Content Server 6.5 (ACS).

#Adobe Content Server (ACS)

Adobe Content Server is software developed by Adobe Systems to add digital rights management to e-books. It is designed to protect and distribute Adobe e-books in PDF or EPUB format through Adobe Digital Editions, or applications and devices developed using Adobe's Adobe Reader Mobile SDK, covering a wide range of tablets, smartphones, and dedicated devices.

#Seamless fulfilment of books across devices

ACS offers great ease-of-use as the books your customers purchase, appear automatically across all their eBook readers.

#Resource Level DRM for Better Protection

Distributors can choose to enforce a stronger DRM on specific books. When this flag is set, the book can be opened only by readers based on RMSDK 10.0 or above.

#Publish in industry standard file formats

Sell or lend rights-protected eBooks in PDF, EPUB or EPUB3, a reflowing industry-standard format for digital eBooks.

#Choose the EPUB reader version

Now choose to render an EPUB file using the EPUB 2 or the new EPUB 3 rendering engine.

#Expiration of permissions for lending content

Make eBooks available for a specified length of time. Return the content to the lender at the end of the specified period.

#Digital Media Reserve

Digital Media Reserve (DMR) is an online application developed by Digital Media Initiatives (DMI).

Digital Media Initiatives | DMI Systems

DMI holds a license of Adobe Content Server and has developed robust and scalable full-featured solution around it.

#Protect IP rights and sensitive information

Publishers, academic institutions and corporates can protect IP rights and sensitive information using DMR.

#Retailer Web Integration Services

Add DMR (with ACS, latest edition) to your publishing & retailing workflow smoothly with the REST based APIs provided by DMR.
